In those secret places
Where borders fade
And each into other seep
Where fishes soar skyward
And the birds dive deep.
Where the earth trusts the sky
And the words are forgotten
Winds stand still
And the breath lays stolen
Do such places of magic exist?
Yes, but not where eyes can see
Or hands can touch
And yet their existence as real
And as true
As the falsehood of our being two
Instead of one.
Where borders fade
And each into other seep
Where fishes soar skyward
And the birds dive deep.
Where the earth trusts the sky
And the words are forgotten
Winds stand still
And the breath lays stolen
Do such places of magic exist?
Yes, but not where eyes can see
Or hands can touch
And yet their existence as real
And as true
As the falsehood of our being two
Instead of one.
