Now that i see you

i walk slow.

Now every step an infinite journey!

Every breath to be savoured!

Why would i even look up

to your face?

These barren lands,

this dust flying in this abandoned space

is enough!

Not one more step,

now that i'm nearing

let me stop here forever,

At a distance..tearing!

Since Then..

Like a leaf 

weightless

completes its fall

and melts into the ground

The bee rests its buzz

incessant

closed in the flower

without a sound

My eyes 

knew rest

only when 

into yours..

..drowned!

For that one moment

and never again, 

ever since then..

Suspended

Thrown out and sucked in

held up and drowned back in

churned around

and tossed up at last

into the sky of the senseless!

Watched you rapt 

and unblinking for long

only to be zapped

into the empty space 

that was you.. a moment ago!

Now eyes closed

and eyes open

its all the same

All that is seen

held up by the unseen

Suspended in who knows where

wherever 

and however

though in pain, it doesn't matter

for always in love

forever and ever!

Why do flowers bloom?

Is it the wind that 

made the leaves move

Is it really the plant 

from which the flower grew

Is it the water drops 

that sunk in

and threw..

..out this sweet smell!

Is it the sweetness

that brought the smile

Was it really in love

that you paused for a while!

These winds, 

these leaves,

these smells

playing with the light

this rustle, 

this buzz, 

this moment

standing out bright!

This beauty

This peace

This love

do i really know?

Up,down

right,left

then, now

where do i go?

Cried and screamed

Danced and laughed

Sorrowed and sang

Wrote poems.
And all that stuff

Grinned and frowned

Wept for a while.

Then came around

And realized
That it's not enough...

...without the wide open sky!
